Caro Southfield
Caro Southfield is an experienced pianist from North Rhine-Westphalia.
She has been playing the piano since childhood.
She wrote her first composition in 2010, followed by others, which she performed on her stage piano at concerts and celebrations.
Caro Southfield is also involved in various projects (film/TV/advertising agency industry, cooperation with the company IMAscore) and has already worked with various artists.
Since fall 2020, Caro Southfield has been composing and playing the piano lines for singer-songwriter and producer Lauryn Mark in the German pop genre. They were also played on famous radio stations such as HR3, SWR3, NDR2, Radio NRW (44 local radio stations) and many more.
Caro is gradually releasing her own compositions on various platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube.

LE TOURNESOL
Caro Southfield's composition Le Tournesol is a delicate reminder of all those small, precious moments that often shine hidden away in everyday life. The composition was written during a long stay abroad. Southfield was inspired by the heyday of the sunflower and the quiet beauty of nature. Warm golden light, vast fields, and fleeting perfection characterize the atmosphere of the piece. Personal impressions, observations of nature, and a sense of inner peace merge into a tapestry of sound full of emotion. Le Tournesol invites us to pause and perceive the subtle nuances of life with open senses. Where depth often lies in the unspectacular.
DISTANCE
The composition “Distance” takes us through moments of emotional farewell, with each note capturing the depth of emotion. In the midst of this difficult phase, the music creates an emotional resonance that puts listeners in an introspective state. The complexity of feelings during this farewell is reflected in the nuances of the melody, and Caro Southfield knows how to convey the depth of this experience through her music.
AWAKE
The composition “Awake” describes a profound journey marked by past highs and lows, changes, and the insights gained from them. With her music, Caro Southfield presents the story of an inner awakening and a transformation that emerged from connected flashbacks. She processes stages of life in which different emotions merge into a powerful arrangement. The music video for the composition was filmed in the Rudolf Oetker Hall in Bielefeld.
